The opening ceremony of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was a three-day event and the attendees witnessed a gala that was high on culture, craftsmanship, glitz and glamour.

Celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, Zendaya, and Sonam Kapoor, among others, were in attendance. Unsurprisingly, their outfits became the talk of the town.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid wore a Chikankari saree that was created by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Made by artisans in Lucknow and it took a year to make the garment.

Actor Priyanka Chopra wore a sequined tube top that came attached with a matching cap. Her outfit was designed by designer Amit Aggarwal and it was created by using a 65-year-old vintage Banarasi patola (brocade) saree with silver threads and gold electroplating on khadi silk.

On the other hand, Zendaya wore a custom saree designed by Rahul Mishra. Her outfit was from Mishra's Cosmos collection and it had embroidery throughout and comprised of 3D gold birds that were stitched together.
