Do you apply lemon or orange juice directly on your face? Well, according to a skin expert, it might not be the best practice for your skin.

Tiara Willis took to Twitter and explained how applying vitamin C juice directly from the fruit may lead to hyperpigmentation as it contains citric acid.

She also claimed that fruits contain less vitamin C in comparison to the concentrations you can get in a serum. As per Willis, it's always better to use vitamin C serums for the skin and consume fruits directly to get the best of their nutrients.
