Heatwave Warning: Temperature is skyrocketing in many parts of India; IMD issues advisory

Amid the unusual rise in temperatures, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a warning against the heatwaves in states like Delhi-NCR, Haryana, West Rajasthan among others.

The department has issued an advisory to avoid heat exposure, wear light-coloured and loose cotton clothes, cover your head with a scarf, hat or umbrella. Moreover, keep yourself hydrated with water, buttermilk, lassi, lemon water etc.
