Imagine you are sitting in a restaurant with your partner and one of their acquaintances walks by and starts talking. You patiently keep waiting for your partner to introduce you to that person but that doesn't happen. Yes, that's exactly when you become a victim of 'Pocketing'.
This is yet another dating trend in which the person hides his/her relationship, situationship, or whatever it is to them from the world.
Well, as this sounds, it could be a red flag. However, experts say that pocketing can happen due to several reasons like past trauma, out of fear, among other things and that does not mean that they are not into you.
The only solution to get out of a pocketing situation is by talking it out.
