According to a survey conducted by Hinge, 2000 app users flirt with their potential partners by sending memes and consider it as an important factor to start a relationship.
The data also revealed that 73 per cent of daters share memes to check their partner's sense of humour and 60 per cent prioritise getting an idea of someone's 'meme humour' before heading out for a date.
