Army Day 2022: Today, the 74th Army Day is being celebrated across the country to honour the brave soldiers of the Indian Army who serve the Nation selflessly and diligently.

The Indian Army was established and enforced in 1895. However, it was only after India’s independence when the British General Sir Francis Butcher officially handed over the baton to Lieutenant General KM Cariappa, the country’s first Indian Commander-in-Chief.
