According to one of the world’s biggest toymakers, VTech, the ChatGPT chatbot will be available in toys by 2028.
As per the Co-founder Allan Wong, teddy bears knitted out with generative AI will be able to chat with children as friends and tell them personalised bedtime stories. The AI teddy bears will also be able to teach them and instill values such as not telling lies.
Data from Mordor Intelligence stated that the global market for smart toys will go up to $14bn this year and is estimated to reach $43bn by 2032.
