Lewis Hamilton wins fifth world title

Lewis Hamilton has won his fifth world title becoming the joint second most successful Formula 1 driver of all time, just behind 7-time world champion Michael Schumacher. He is also only the third man to win the world title five times. Needing to finish seventh or higher in Sunday's Mexican Grand Prix, the Mercedes driver came fourth with Max Verstappen winning the race.
