The leaning tower of Pisa has straightened by 1.5 inches. The ongoing engineering work to save the tourist attraction is slowly showing results as after 17 years, there is finally some progress. The Tower was closed to the public for 11 years, from 1990, as its tilt had reached 15 feet from the vertical. Experts reveal that the Tower is finally stable, 900 years from its inception.
