Lahore High Court has returned former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's application challenging his death sentence citing non-availability of the full bench due to winter vacations. Musharraf was sentenced to death by a special court last week for high treason after a 6-year-long legal battle. He has been asked to re-file the plea in the first week of January. The 76-year-old in his petition has called the special court's verdict 'illegal, without jurisdiction and unconstitutional'.
