IPL 2021, KKR beat RCB, Virat Kohli

Most cricket experts had written off KKR in April when they lost 5 of their first 7 games, but the Knight Riders are now just 2 wins away from lifting the IPL trophy. KKR edged out RCB in the Eliminator by 4 wickets on Monday night to stage a clash vs the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Qualifier 2.

Opting to bat first, RCB had a decent start but KKR pulled things back in the middle overs. Spinners choked Bangalore to an extent that there was no coming back. Sunil Narine rattled RCB with 4 wickets and restricted them to 138/7. After a strong start, KKR stumbled a bit but crossed the finish line in the final over.

The win means that Virat Kohli will end his captaincy career in IPL without a trophy.
