Kolkata Knight Riders had yet another clinical outing as they thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs to register their 2nd consecutive win on Wednesday. Steve Smith's decision to bowl first surprised many as Kolkata capitalised on that. Shubman Gill once again impressed with a gritty 47 at the top but it was Eoin Morgan's unbeaten 23-ball-34 that powered KKR to 174/6. Defending which, KKR fast bowlers rattled the Royals as they lost half their side with just 42 runs on the board. After Shivam Mavi and Nagarkoti claimed 2 wickets each, Varun Chakravarthy bamboozled Rajasthan with his mystery spin as they only managed 137/9. After a disappointing 1st game, KKR didn't seem a very threatening unit but with 2 comprehensive wins, the Knight Riders have surely sent out a send out a loud message that they are not to be taken lightly.
