Vaazhayila restaurant in Thiruvananthapuram is using banana leaves to wrap 'take-away' food. The unique initiative has been undertaken to reduce the usage of plastic bags. The food is wrapped in banana leaves and then in sheets of newspaper to make the packaging more eco-friendly.
