Even before Kamala Harris takes charge as the Vice President of the United States, she is already the 'hero' of a comic book!
The 12-page bilingual comic, called 'Kamala in Canada' created by Canadian journalist Kaj Hasselriis, narrates her time in Montreal when she was a student at the age of 12.
The story aims to inspire children, with an insight into a political battle she took on, along with many events in her life, when her landlord disallowed Kamala and others from playing soccer in the apartment courtyard.
The book also speaks about how Kamala had to adapt to a new language and country.
