As Germany's round of 16 defeat against England on Tuesday brought an end to coach Joachim Low's 15-year run with the national side, he was disappointed with the missed chances.
After the game, he said that his men lacked a bit of penetrating power up front as they missed two great chances. Low added that he is very disappointed as Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sané didn’t show what they can do.
Low, who took over in 2006 and led Germany to the 2014 World Cup title before they crashed out of the tournament four years later in the first round, will be succeeded by former Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick.
