The CBI on Wednesday filed two more FIRs in connection with the death od Jharkhand judge Uttam Anand, who was mowed down by a tempo while on his morning jog.
The CBI said that the two new cases are related to the alleged theft of three mobile phones by the accused persons. the cases were initially registered by the Jharkhand Police and the CBI has now taken over the investigation.
The CBI is now investigation a total of three cases in connection with the Dhanbad judge's death.
Additional District Judge Uttam Anand, who was killed on July 28 when a tempo ran over him while he was on morning jog.

It was first believed to be a case of hit and run but video footage later showed that the tempo had intentionally hit the judge.
Judge Anand was reportedly hearing a number of cases related to mafia killings and had denied bail to two gangsters.
Earlier on Wednesday, CBI also increased the cash reward on information regarding the case from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. The case was handed over to CBI by the Supreme Court on August 4.
