One of the greatest fast bowlers in Test cricket, James Anderson added another feather to his cap when he picked up his 1000th First Class wicket while turning up for Lancashire in County Cricket. Playing against Kent, Anderson picked up a career-best 7-wicket haul including the scalps Zak Crawley, Jordon Cox, Oliver Robinson, Jack Leaning, Heino Kuhn, Matt Milnes, and Harry Podmore as Kent were bowled out for 74 in the first innings. His figures of 7 wickets for 19 runs are also his best career figures for his county side. A fair warning to the travelling Indian batters who would be facing the 39-year-old in a 5-match Test series next month as the cricketer looks nowhere close to hanging up his boots just yet.
