Jackfruit seeds could replace cocoa, according to study

According to a study by University of São Paulo’s Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture in Brazil, jackfruit seeds may be able to replace cocoa. The study suggests that roasted jackfruit seed can replace about 75 percent of the cocoa used in milk to make cappuccino. The cappuccino made with jackfruit seed flour had a chocolatey aroma. The seeds were fermented for the chocolate aroma to be released.
