J&K: Three Lashkar terrorists killed in encounter in Shopian

Three terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba - The Resistance Front- were killed during an encounter in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Out of the three killed terrorists, one has been identified as Mukhtar Shah of Ganderbal. Police said that Shah had shifted to Shopian after killing a street hawker named Virendra Paswan of Bihar.

The police said that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the three terrorists killed in Shopian.

The killings come a day after 5 soldiers were martyred in a gunbattle with the terrorists in Poonch on Monday.
