Fungie, Ireland's famous bottlenose dolphin, who lived at the County Kerry coast, has gone missing since last Tuesday. The 37-year-old dolphin was more than just an animal for the people of Ireland, achieving almost a celebrity status. Last year, he bagged the title of the oldest solitary dolphin in the world from the Guinness Book of World Records. Both locals and authorities are keeping their hopes up but this has been the longest time that Fungie has been missing for.
