As India's 5th and final Test vs England in Manchester was cancelled due to Covid-19 scare in the Indian camp, Mumbai Indians' skipper Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav arrived in Abu Dhabi on a private charter flight on Saturday for rest of the IPL 2021.

The trio arrived along with their families and will now undergo a 6-day hard quarantine, as per the IPL’s guidelines. Mumbai Indians in a statement said that all members had returned negative RT PCR results before departure. A new RT PCR test was undertaken upon arrival at Abu Dhabi, which came out negative as well.

Rohit Sharma's men resume their IPL campaign with game against the Chennai Super Kings on September 19.
