KKR continue to make a statement in the UAE-leg of IPL 2021 as they returned to winning ways by beating DC by 3 wickets on Tuesday.
Eoin Morgan's decision to bowl first proved right as Delhi batters found it tough to get going on a slow wicket. Sunil Narine choked DC with a spell of 2 for 18 in 4 overs as Pant's men were restricted to 127/9. Chasing which, KKR was reduced to 67/4 as Morgan failed once again and was out for a duck. But Narine once again proved to be the savior with a 10-ball-21. Nitish Rana held one end and carried KKR over the finish line with an unbeaten 36. KKR's 3rd win in last 4 games helped them march strongly towards a place in the playoffs. They are now on 10 points with a positive net run rate, which is a concern for the teams in bottom 4.
