IPL 2021: KKR's Kuldeep Yadav returns home after sustaining knee injury

Kuldeep Yadav, who plays for KKR in the IPL, has returned to India from the UAE after suffering a serious knee injury. The Chinaman, has also reportedly undergone surgery in Mumbai and is likely to miss much of the Ranji Trophy season as well.

According to PTI, the 26-year-old sustained the injury while fielding in a practice session. He will now remain out of action for some time before he can get to building strength back with intense physiotherapy sessions at the National Cricket Academy. Kuldeep has had a rough couple of years which saw him being dropped from the Test team and didn't have a great outing in the ODI and T20 series in Sri Lanka. He has also not found a place in KKR's playing XI for quite a while now.
