IPL 2021: Hyderabad eliminated from the playoffs race after losing to Punjab

Indian Premier League's playoff race got hotter Punjab Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad to move to the 5th spot on the points table. After batting first, Punjab put up a below par total and gave Sunrisers an easy 126 run target. Jason Holder picked up 3 wickets as no batter from Punjab crossed the 30 run mark. 

It looked all but over for Punjab but their bowlers defended the low score successfully. Playing his first game in the 2nd leg, Ravi Bishnoi was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 3 wickets from his 4 overs. 

A thrilling game which Punjab won on the last ball by 5 runs ensured that they jumped to the 5th spot on the table as Sunrisers Hyderabad are officially out of the playoff race.
