The Interpol has issued a red notice against a self-styled godman who is accused of sexual exploitation and confinement of several girls in his Delhi ashram, the Hindustan Times has reported. Delhi Police had raided Virendra Deo Dixit's ashram in the Capital's Rohini area in 2017 and had rescued 67 women, mostly minors. The godman allegedly kept the women in cages, fed them like animals and didn't allow them to meet their parents. 79-year-old Dixit has been reportedly absconding since then and is suspected to be hiding in Nepal.
