In a shocking case, a woman has alleged that she was harassed and threatened by an Indigo pilot just because she asked for a wheelchair for her 75-year-old diabetic mother.
In a series of tweets, journalist Supriya Unni Nair narrated the incident tagging Indigo, which went viral immediately. Supriya who was travelling from Chennai on an IndiGo flight requested for a wheelchair for her mother once they landed, she says the pilot harassed, threatened and prevented them from de-boarding the flight and threatened to get them arrested.
After Unni's tweets, Union Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri stepped in. He tweeted to say that the airline has 'off-rostered' the pilot following the incident and a full enquiry will be conducted.
