Indian wrestlers get annual contracts

The Wrestling Federation of India announced central contracts their grapplers. Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Pooja Dhanda are included in the A category and will receive an annual amount of Rs 30 lakh. 2-time Olympic Medallsit Sushil Kumar & 2016 Rio Games bronze medallist Sakshi Malik are included in the B category and will receive Rs. 20 lakh per year. The contracts for wrestlers is similar to the ones given by BCCI where players get a fixed compensation every year
