Saving women from the hassles of crowding in the general compartment, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to reserve seats for its female passengers. The distinct part of coaches will be coloured pink to help the women travelers identify the seats reserved for them. To implement this new system, the RPF and TC will also be deployed in the general compartment, and according to the NRF, it will greatly benefit women traveling alone or with children.
