After the 1st Test between India and England went down the drain in Nottingham, the focus now shifts to the Lords' for the 2nd encounter which starts today. Both camps are scampering to find the right combination to play as they are struggling with injuries. With James Anderson doubtful and Stuart Broad ruled out of the series, Chris Silverwood has some tough choices to make. Haseeb Hameed and Moen Ali might get into the mix too as a dry track awaits the two teams at the home of cricket.

For Team India, Shardul Thakur is out of the 2nd Test which has given the management and captain Virat Kohli a massive headache. The balance in the team is disturbed for sure as Thakur was exceptional in the 1st Test with 4 scalps.

There still could be no Ravichandran Ashwin as Team India will be aiming to play 4 fast bowlers in the squad with Jadeja as the 5th bowling option. Virat Kohli has already made his intentions clear about the combination in England but everything will depend on the dryness in the pitch at the Lord's.
