Afghanistan is all set to tour India in March 2022 for a 3-match ODI series, the Afghanistan Cricket Board confirmed in its future tours programme.
According to their FTP schedule for 2022-23, a total of 37 ODIs, 12 T20Is & 3 tests have been scheduled for the upcoming 2 years. Apart from the series against India, Afghanistan will face off against Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Australia and Ireland in 2022. Moreover, the national team will be taking part in Asia Cup 2022, T20 World Cup 2022, the Asia Cup 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023.
Notably, India hosted Afghanistan in a Test match in June 2018, which happened to be their first-ever red-ball game.
