India thrashed Pakistan 4-0 in their Davis Cup tie in Nur Sultan. After leading 2-0 at the end of Day 1, India won their 3rd outing with the experienced Leander Paes Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan won the doubles tie making it 3-0. In the reverse singles, Sumit Nagal thrashed Yousaf Khalil 6-1 6-0 as India took an unassailable 4-0 lead. The two sides opted not to play the dead fifth rubber as India comfortably won the tie. India next travel to Croatia for the World Group Qualifiers in March next year.
