We faced the short term pain and now it's time to set out and see the long term gains, that's the word from India's Chief Economic Advisor. In an exclusive conversation with Editorji Dr K Subramanian admitted that the resilience of the economy has taken him by surprise but it was due to the clear and quick policy response from the govt that India is emerging out of the pandemic much better than most.

Govt's chief policy advisor is optimistic that the worst is behind us but to ensure a stronger recovery he is hopeful that the pace of the vaccine drive will pick up pace further.
