The deadly second wave of Covid-19 pandemic in India has overwhelmed the healthcare system. As India continues to register record high cases, 21 countries have sent necessary medical assistance.
A consignment of the Oxygen generators & 1,000 ventilators arrived from the United Kingdom on Sunday. The MEA spokesperson said 'each generator has the capacity to produce 500 litres of Oxygen per minute, enough to treat 50 people at a time'
South Korea also dispatched a consignment of Oxygen cylinders, concentrators and negative pressure carriers for India.
Meanwhile, an Indian Air Force IL-76 airlifted two cryogenic oxygen from Indonesia and an India Air Force C17 is set to bring two oxygen generators from Bordeaux, France.
