Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that India is holding its own despite facing multiple challenges due to the resilience and aspirations of its people. Addressing the India-US Strategic Partnership Forum, the Prime Minister said that the country has "battled floods, two cyclones and locust attacks, apart from Covid," in the last few months. PM stated that 130 crore Indians have embarked on one mission to make an 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India). Elaborating on his pet theme, the PM said: "Aatmanirbhar Bharat merges the local with the global and it ensures India's strengths act as a global force multiplier".
