Kolkata, June 6 (PTI) Fifty-eight new cases of coronavirus were reported in West Bengal over the past 24 hours, as confirmed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday. During the same period, 91 individuals recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of active cases to 596, the ministry said. The number of fatalities due to the virus remained unchanged at one. An official stated, "The situation is under control, and there is nothing to worry about." However, the public is advised to adhere to Covid-19 health protocols and wear masks.
