In a suspected case of food adulteration, a video showing a man dipping leafy vegetables in a bucket seemingly filled with chemical solution has appalled netizens.
The old clip which has now gone viral shows a man soaking a stale vegetable in a bucket which has foamy water. He then places the vegetable in a container to let it dry. Gradually, the vegetable is seen opening up as if it was freshly plucked.
The footage has left netizens shocked with many alleging the use of a chemical substance to make the vegetable look fresher.
