A video showing snake in a bucket of curry is viral on social media. While the place of the incident in unknown, the clip is said to be from a community meal event or Bhandara and has got over 7 million views on Instagram alone.
In the video, a man is taking out the snake with a ladle from the vegetable curry stored in bucket. Although, a man, who is not in the video, is heard saying the the snake is dead, a closer look shows the reptile moving in the bucket. Another man is heard saying that the snake is the 'third most poisonous in the world'.
Netizens came up with mixed reactions with one viewer claiming that the snake in the video is from the Common Sand Boa and is non-venomous. Another wrote "...the snake is from the Russell Viper species and is considered the most venomous."
