In a video which is going viral online, a college student can be seen calling out his professor for allegedly calling him a 'terrorist'.

The video is reportedly of a student from a university in coastal Karnataka region.

In the purported video, the student in the classroom asked, “How can you pass such statements?”, followed by an argument.

Taking the argument further, the student said, “26/11 is not funny, being Muslim and facing such things in this country is not funny.”

To this the professor responded by apologising to the student and told him that he is equal to his son. The student replied, “Will you treat your son like this? Will you label him as a terrorist, infront of everyone in the class?"

The professor, however, clarified that it was said in a funny manner, a Hindustan Times report stated.
