India's weapons development organisation DRDO has issued an advisory weeks after the arrest of a senior official for allegedly giving confidential information to a female Pakistani agent.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation has told scientists and officials to maintain cyber discipline, avoid unnecessary interactions on social media, and not answer calls from unknown numbers, especially foreign ones, as per a Hindustan Times report.

On May 3, 2023, police arrested Pradeep Kurulkar, a director at a DRDO lab in Pune, for allegedly leaking sensitive information to Pakistan after being honey-trapped.
