Wagh Bakri group scion Parag Desai dies aged 49

Parag Desai, the Executive Director at Wagh Bakri Tea Group, died on October 22 days after he fell while being attacked by stray dogs outside his house in Ahmedabad.

The 49-year-old businessman was the son of Rasesh Desai, Managing Director of the tea-making brand.

Desai suffered severe injuries in the incident that occurred on October 15.

He was rushed to Shalby Hospital and later shifted to Zydus Hospital for surgery.

However, he succumbed to a brain haemorrhage during treatment.
