Srinagar, Jul 1 (PTI) Vikram Sahay, a distinguished officer from the 1992 batch of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), has been promoted to the position of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.

Sahay, who has held the office of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax for the same regions since September 2024, has now ascended to this new role as per a release from the Press Information Bureau on Tuesday.
