The Health Ministry of Uzbekistan has claimed that 18 children have died in the country after allegedly consuming medicines manufactured by an Indian pharmaceutical company. According to a report by India Today quoting the health ministry of Uzbekistan, 18 out of 21 children with acute respiratory disease lost their lives after taking Doc-1 Max tablets and syrup manufactured by the Uttar Pradesh-based Marion Biotech. The Uzbek ministry, however, added that the children died because the medicine was not taken in the right dosage.
