A major accident was narrowly averted in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad on April 30 when Naini Duni Express, traveling at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour and carrying more than 1100 passengers, encountered a large boulder weighing nearly 100 kilograms.

As per multiple media houses, the boulder caused the engine wheel to lift, and the train skidded for about 100 meters. However, the driver was wisely able bring the express train to a halt.

The train was headed to Kathgodam from Dehradoon when large boulder was found on the track near Syohara. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
