Noida is set to get a new metro segment from Sector 142 to Botanical Garden. The National Metro Rail Corporation in its 38th board meeting has approved the Detailed Project Report or DPR for the proposed section.
The route will have eight metro stations and will cater to passengers from Sectors 44, 45, 97, 99, 100, 104, 105, 108 and 93.
The estimated cost of the project is around ₹2,245 crore. It will provide direct connectivity to Delhi Airport's Terminal 1 through Magenta line of Delhi Metro.
The new segment will also connect passengers going to New Delhi Railway Station via Blue Line that passes through Botanical Garden.
