BJP's Meerut candidate Arun Govil urged the people of Meerut to cast their vote as he countered assertions of him being an outsider in the constituency.
"I don't understand who are those people who are labelling me an outsider. There are many here who after completing their studies go and settle in the US. Will you also call them outsiders? I was born and brought up here, and even did my studies here, so how am I an outsider?"
