National president of the Indian Youth Congress Srinivas BV shared a video on X featuring Bhojpuri actor and BJP’s Azamgarh MP Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua).
In the video, Yadav was seen talking to reporters on the topic of unemployment in the country. He said the prime reason of unemployment in India is growing population, hence people need to make fewer babies.
Yadav was seen citing the examples of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who do not have children. He said they did their bit to curb unemployment.
Yadav further said the people who have more children are the ones responsible for the issue of unemployment in the country.
After the video went viral on social media, the actor turned politician claimed that the video was ‘fake’ and AI generated.
“Anyone who sees it will understand that the lips are saying something else. What do you want to prove by cloning the sound with AI?” Nirahua wrote on twitter.
However, the story took a turn as the social media fact checkers, including Mohammad Zubair claimed that the video was completely original as the same interview of Yadav can be found on YouTube as well.
