Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday conducted a Janta Darshan at his official residence, 5 Kalidas Marg in Lucknow. During the event, he directly interacted with the public, listened to their concerns, and instructed officials to address issues promptly.

Present at the gathering were the state’s Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Home), Director General of Police (DGP), and senior officials from key departments.

In a heartwarming moment during the event, the Chief Minister was seen engaging with a young child, offering chocolates, and distributing chargeable sticks with inbuilt sensors to two specially abled individuals.

Previously, on March 6, CM Adityanath held a similar Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur, where he attentively listened to people’s problems and passed on directions to ensure timely redressal.

After taking office in 2017, Yogi Adityanath has made Janta Darshan a regular initiative with the aim of offering swift resolutions to citizens’ grievances. These sessions have become a hallmark of his governance style.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister is set to lay the foundation stone for the largest night shelter in eastern Uttar Pradesh at AIIMS Gorakhpur on Friday (April 18), as per a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office on Wednesday.

The facility, designed to accommodate up to 500 individuals, is being developed at a cost of Rs 44 crore. The Power Grid Corporation of India is funding the construction under its corporate social responsibility initiative.

CM Yogi will initiate the project with a ground-breaking ceremony. The night shelter is intended to provide relief to patients and their attendants who travel from distant areas for treatment at AIIMS Gorakhpur.
