The United States of America has accused India of not complying with protocols concerning international parental child abduction.

The US State Department's 2023 report on the issue was submitted to the US Congress on May 2, 2023.

It said that India "persistently failed" in 2022 to work with the US to resolve cases of a parent abducting a child across international borders.
