The United States government on July 4 condemned a reported attack on an Indian diplomatic mission in San Francisco.
The incident occurred on July 1 at around 1:30 am when alleged pro-Khalistani protestors attacked the Indian consulate, as per Diya TV, a local channel.
They tried to set the consulate on fire, but it was quickly doused by the city's fire department.
The US State Department "strongly condemned" the reported incident.
