If courage had a face it would look like Rinku Rahee, an anti-corruption activist at heart.
A resident of Aligrah in Uttar Pradesh, Rahee, reports say, had exposed a Rs 100 crore scholarship scam in Muzzafarnagar in 2007 which led to a near fatal attack on him.
Rahee was posted as District Social Welfare Officer in 2008 after he had cleared Uttar Pradesh PCS exam a year earlier. Once the scam was exposed, he was shot seven times and lost one of his eyes in the attack.
This year, after 13 years of continuous effort, he cracked the UPSC exam securing 638th rank.
